Like other issues celebrity couples must consider and address, Miss Piggy and Kermit included in their statement of their intentions to remain coworkers on screen in the upcoming season of The Muppets and through the lavish streets of Hollywood.

Rumor has it the tension between the couple surfaced after the 2014 release of Muppets Most Wanted. Some propose Miss Piggy’s decline to switch from “Miss” to “Mrs.” after the two wed sparked fire.

On the other hand, other fans explain the decision to separate stemmed from the two moving onto two different lily pads months ago. As for Miss Piggy, she has remained her sassy-self stating, “It was inevitable that Kermit would drop down to the ground while I stayed in the heavens.”
