SGA Rose to the Occasion

Staff Writers: Sarah Bohannan and Luci Dumas

Valentine’s Day is always fun at school, because of the many ways that they offer celebration of the day. This year, the SGA sold balloons, candy and real flowers! They sold roses for $2 and carnations for $1.

It was amazing how many girls were walking around with beautiful red roses and pretty pink carnations. It was a great way to celebrate since you could buy them for someone special or a friend.

There was even one girl that got five balloons, a huge teddy bear, a dozen roses and chocolates. It was so cute and it made every girl in the cafeteria jealous.

It was adorable to see guys bringing girls flowers and to see best friends giving each other flowers. Though Valentine’s Day was over the weekend it really felt like Valentine’s Day that Friday before break.
