Brady: The Story Begins…..Again

Staff Writer: Kevin Mitchell

TB to TB? No one would’ve ever expected that Tom Brady would leave the Patriots. After what he has given to the team throughout his 20 years its shocking that he’s moving on this upcoming season. Tom Brady agreed to a $50 Million contract with his new team in the Big Guava. Tom Brady will be heading to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tampa was a team that had great potential, but the coaches were never on board with the last QB Jameis Winston. He’s very underrated throughout the NFL. Bucs fans think he was horrible but in fact he was a great player for the team. He led last season in passing yards out of the whole league.

Higher than Lamar, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Wilson, Garoppolo, Mahomes everybody who was being talked about throughout the season he had better pass yards. The team had great players even besides Jameis. Players like Chris Goodwin, O.J. Howard and Mike Evans. Put them with Jameis they are great but put them with Tom Brady they are going to be amazing.

Tom Brady can make any player look like they are the best in the league and coming to the team is going to boosts the teams rating and he might be able to even do what Winston couldn’t and get them to a Super Bowl.

Tom Brady is a player that can’t be matched. He has played in 9 Super Bowls and won 6 of them and having more rings then any player in NFL history it’s easy to say he’s looking to get more with the new team.

“Excited, Humble, and Hungry … If there is one thing I have learned about Football, it’s that nobody cares what you did last year or the year before that … you earn the trust and respect of those around through your commitment every single day,” wrote Brady on Instagram. “I’m starting a new football journey and thankful to the @buccaneers for giving me an opportunity to do what I love to do.”

Brady is Hungry after last season’s upset to the Titans and nothing is going to get in his way of bringing home a new championship to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Buccaneers made the smartest decision signing him and they are still building the team. They are building up an Offensive line for him. Keeping him safe is top priority because they don’t want Brady to be injured at all and coming to the south he will get plowed over if they don’t build the lineup.

Brady isn’t much of a runner so him being able to stay within the pocket for as long as possible would be great for the team. South teams, the Falcons for example, have been against Brady before and with how the game turned out last time the Falcons and Saints and all the NFC south teams are going to bring the pressure to Brady hard. He isn’t going to have any moment of rest when he is out on the field.

Another thing Brady needs is an extra weapon and that weapon could just be Antonio Brown. Bringing Brown into the fold might be the extra spark that’s needed but Brown would need to stay out of the media which, after recent situation, he may not be capable of doing which is also why many teams won’t sign him but if the Bucs take the risk it could be another key decision helping to put a Super Bowl in the bag.

The Bucs are going to keep building and make the team amazing. With the 14th pick in the draft the Buccaneers are projected to pick up Derrick Brown a DT from Auburn.

“Getting a stud like Brown with the 14th pick is too rich to pass up, even with Ndamukong Suh returning to the Bucs on a one-year deal,” said Chad Reuter on NFL.com.

With the 45th pick they are expected to pick up an amazing running back out of the University of Georgia, Deandre Swift. With swift being able to sit and observe and learn he could turn into a force within the NFL. The Bucs can pick up more Offensive protection and Defensive players then anything.

Once again keeping TB safe is going to be the top priority. They don’t need to worry about getting a QB unless its late in the draft and even then, they most likely won’t pick up one. The Bucs have the potential to build up an unstoppable force and it all revolves around the leader of the offense Tom Brady.

This upcoming NFL season is sure to hold many more surprises. Free Agency was shock after shock after shock and it’s still going. The one thing that is sure is that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to be an amazing team with tons and tons of potential to do well and Tom Brady is going to prove to everyone that leaving the New England Patriots was the smartest decision in his NFL career.
