Faze member Frazier Khattri, otherwise known as Kay, promotes false crypto currency.

Famous organization Faze Clan is represented by multiple members: Frazier Khattri (Faze Kay), Jakob (Faze Teeqo), Nikan Nadim (Faze Nikan), and Jarvis Khattri (Faze Jarvis). They are currently in an alleged crypto scam in. The allegations state they were involved in and supported an up-and-coming crypto currency. Fans were encouraged to invest only to be shocked that few hours upon release owners pulled all funds, which left fans outraged!

Woodstock junior Brayden Callahan said, “I have not heard of the Faze crypto currency scam! I don’t do anything with crypto currency.”  With all the buzz around crypto currency, and despite being very shocking news in the “grown-up” world, it seems high school students may not be concerned with such allegations if it has nothing to do with them directly.

Some members being more involved than others, Faze Kay had some words, “I’m really struggling with the fact that I let you all down & more importantly anyone whose trust I’ve lost. My fans mean the world to me and I wouldn’t be where I am today without you.” — FaZe Kay (@FaZeKay) June 27, 2021

Soon after the incident, members were removed from the organization Faze. Some of which had been with the organization for 10-plus. The organization took to Twitter to make an announcement, “We have made the decision to remove Kay from FaZe Clan, and have suspended Jarvis, Nikan, and Teeqo until further notice.”

In a follow up statement in regard to clearing the organization’s name, they stated in another tweet, “FaZe clan had absolutely no involvement with our member’s activity in the cryptocurrency space. We strongly condone their recent behavior. The trust and respect of our fans has been, and will always be, our number one priority.”

Excluding all other members, Faze Teeqo claims that he had no idea that they were going to pull out of the currency, simply stating, “I’m innocent,” In a YouTube video named “My truth”. In the video, he talks about how he only was involved because of the charity aspect. They were supposed to donate a portion of the income to a charity called Save The Kids.

The organization seems to have cleared their name in regard to the scam. However, many of the members involved are still in sight of angry fans. As Kotaku reported, tons of fans “pumped money into this scheme, believing their investment was protected by the high profile of those endorsing it, only to see their money disappear almost overnight.”
